Help Save Wichita Center!
For 14 years, Wichita Center has served North Clackamas children, housing 12 programs that serve low-income kids from 32 schools.
Though most Wichita programs are run by North Clackamas Schools, the property is owned by the North Clackamas Parks and Recreation District, run by our County Commissioners.
In December, NCPRD ended their transitional agreement with North Clackamas Schools. That means Wichita programs could be evicted by June.

The School District had asked to purchase the property in October, and finally, in mid-February, NCPRD agreed to meet with them on this. Those meetings are on-going.

Urge our Clackamas County Commissioners [the NCPRD Directors] to sell Wichita to North Clackamas Schools at an affordable price. This must happen quickly to prevent disruption of the life-line programs Wichita provides.
